We are having a
fund-raising BBQ street party on
Saturday,
July 17,2004
for the afternoon, here at the corner of Willola Beach and
Moorhead Dr.
Everyone who is someone is invited to come out and make
some noise and have fun. (That's YOU!)
We
will be selling hamburgers, hotdogs and cold drinks. There
will be music and pep talks/speeches
throughout the afternoon. The idea is to gather all the
communities together to support the cause.
Everyone from Galletta to Constance Bay, Dunrobin, Kanata,
Carp, Goulbourn, Rideau, Osgoode, Cumberland and Ottawa are invited to attend.
What is the cause you say? To stop a proposed a 500
foot burm from being built off the shore of
Willolabeach (estimated $550,000 dollars) and to move the boat bypass
off our quiet residential streets through
Fitzroy Harbour and out of The Morris Island Conservation
area.
(Now over $3 million estimated to
build.......................Crazy)
Everyone from 0 to 100 years of age is invited!
COME OUT,
HAVE A GOOD TIME,
BE A PART OF DEMOCRACY IN ACTION!

Thanks for all your support in the past! If we stand
together we can tell the city and the Government were to
put this bypass ! ! ! !
THE
FIGHT IS STILL ON !
